What is a good myAir score?
The myAirTM score has a range of 0-100 depending on the number of hours used, mask seal, events per hour and number of times the mask was taken off. A myAir score higher than 70 is considered a good score.
What does myAir score mean?
myAir measures how many times your breathing partially or fully stops each hour. If you have minimal events, you get 4 to 5 points. Check with your healthcare provider or sleep doctor if you would like to know more about the number of breathing events that you have per hour.
How does ResMed AirSense 10 send data?
It uses cellular service to transmit the data on a regular basis. Data is transmitted about an hour after the machine stops being used. Wireless-enabled PAP device. Can apnea be cured?
CPAP and oral appliances work well, but they’re not cures for sleep apnea. The only sure way to rid yourself of the condition for good is to either lose weight or have surgery to remove excess tissue from the palate or throat.
